Smarter Vision Limited was founded back in 1998 in the scenic village of Armitage which is near Lichfield in Staffordshire. Initially it offered software development services to companies based within the West Midlands but evolved over time to offer a broad range of IT services and specialising within Smart Builidings and strategic IT road map definitions to align IT with the longer term business view. Customers range from micro companies up to large FTSE 100 constituents.

Founder and Director
Richard founded the company in 1998 as a business initially offering software development services. He has over 30 years IT experience primarily within strategy, architecture, development and IT governance. He holds several relevant qualifications including a degree in computer science and those of: Prince2, TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT 5, CISM, CGeit, development and testing. He has been a chartered member of the British computer society since 2013.
Catherine Long
Consultant
Catherine has had experience within software development and in particular the Microsoft .NET stack with SQL Server, but her real forte is solution testing and verification which she has specialised in now for over 15 years. Catherine holds British computer society qualifications related to her domain of expertise.
